Creative brush-tip marker set

The Newell Rubbermaid 2196907 pack contains twelve Sharpie Creative Markers with water-based acrylic ink and a flexible brush tip. The permanent, paint-like colour flows without priming and adheres to paper, metal, wood, ceramic, glass, rock and canvas. Assorted hues include aqua, black, dark blue, gray, green, orange, pink, purple, red, teal, white and yellow. Suitable for artists and hobbyists aged twelve and up.

Water-based acrylic limits

The ink conforms to ASTM D-4236 and contains no recycled content, making it safe for general creative use. Because the formula is water-based it will not bleed through standard paper, yet it remains permanent once dry. Surfaces that are oily, wet or non-porous beyond those listed may not hold the pigment reliably. The markers are not designed for archival or lightfast requirements beyond the stated standard.

Upgrade from basic felt tips

This set replaces single-colour felt-tip pens and student-grade markers that feather on mixed media or require shaking to start. The brush tip delivers variable line width without a separate calligraphy nib, and the twelve-colour assortment removes the need to buy individual tubes. The jump is worth it when a project demands layering on dark and light substrates with one tool.
