Questions about this item

Does the NEX212159 cover include the ignitor module or just the protective cover?

The NEX212159 is the electronic ignitor module cover only; the ignitor module itself is not included and must be sourced separately if needed.

My grill is a 740-0142 — will this cover fit or do I need a different part number?

The cover fits models 740-0141, 740-0142, 750-0141 and 750-0142, so it is the correct part for a 740-0142.

Once installed, does the cover change the ignition voltage or timing on a 750-0141?

No — the cover is a protective housing only and does not alter the ignition voltage, timing or any electrical characteristics of the module.
