3-Inch Copper Dimple Stop Coupling

This Nibco 600DS coupling joins two 3-inch copper tubes in a straight line for drain, air, gas and potable water systems. The wrot copper construction and dimple stop keep both tubes centred without extra measuring. It suits installers who need a permanent sweat connection in commercial or residential plumbing.

Sweat Installation With Built-In Depth Stop

Clean both tube ends, apply flux and slide each tube until it hits the internal dimple that sets the insertion depth. The stop prevents over-insertion that can block flow or create a weak joint. The only common error is insufficient heat on the larger 3 1/8-inch outer diameter, which leaves voids in the solder fillet.
