Nibco, Inc. 611BH Copper Bullhead Tee 1-1/4" x 1-1/4" x 1-1/2
Copper bullhead tee joins two 1-1/4 in branches to a 1-1/2 in run for potable water sweat connections
- Sweat connection enables leak-free solder joints
- Bullhead tee splits flow from 1-1/4" to 1-1/2" run
- Wrot copper construction resists corrosion in potable water
- All three ends accept copper tube for uniform installation
- Adapter tee shape simplifies transitions between different tube sizes
NIBCO 611BH Copper Bullhead Tee
This NIBCO 611BH copper bullhead tee connects three sweat-fitting ends for potable water lines. The branch outlet steps up to a larger tube size than the two run outlets. Wrought copper construction provides corrosion resistance for long service life in residential or commercial plumbing systems. It ships new and ready for installation.
Verify tube sizes and connection method before
Confirm that your existing copper tubing matches the 1 3/8 in outer diameter on the two run ends and the 1 5/8 in outer diameter on the branch end. Ensure your system uses sweat (solder) connections rather than press, push-fit or threaded joints. The fitting is approved for potable water applications only.
Fits into a soldered copper distribution network
The tee joins two 1-1/4 in nominal copper tubes and one 1-1/2 in nominal tube in a single junction, reducing the number of separate couplings required. It needs flux, lead-free solder and a torch to make permanent leak-free joints. No additional adapters are required when the surrounding tubing matches the listed diameters.

Questions about this item
Does the 611BH bullhead tee ship with solder or flux, or must I buy them separately?
The fitting is supplied alone; solder and flux are not included and must be purchased separately for the sweat connections.
The tee has two 1-1/4 in ends and one 1-1/2 in end — which end should I use for the main supply line?
The 1-1/2 in cup (Side C) is the larger run; use it for the main supply and the two 1-1/4 in cups for the branches.
What does the wrot copper construction mean for potable-water installations?
Wrot copper is approved for potable water, so the tee can be used directly in drinking-water lines after proper soldering.
