Purpose & Audience

The NICRON F81 is a 1000lm zoomable flashlight built for household, hiking, camping and everyday carry. It ships with an 18 650 rechargeable battery and a Type-C cable so it works straight from the box. The IP64 rating protects against dust and splashing water in normal outdoor conditions.

Sustained Operation

Six lighting modes let you match output to runtime: Super at 1000lm for 2 hours, High at 500lm for 3 hours, Mid at 150lm for 7 hours and Low at 50lm for 20 hours. A smart button shows charge status through green, orange and red indicators so you know when to recharge during extended trips.

Deciding Specification

The zoomable focus design allows single-handed adjustment between spot and flood beams, reaching 160 m at 6500 cd intensity. If you need a fixed-beam light or a higher waterproof rating than IP64, this model will not suit those requirements.

Questions about this item

Does the IP64 rating keep the light working if it is left running all day in steady rain?

IP64 protects against splashing water from any direction; it is not rated for immersion, so prolonged heavy rain could still let moisture in.

Do I need to buy a separate 18650 cell or USB-C charger to start using the F81?

The package includes one 18650 rechargeable battery and a Type-C cable, so no extra cell or charger is required.

Can the 160 m beam distance on Super mode still reach targets when I also carry older 150 lm lights?

Super mode delivers 1000 lm and 6500 cd for a 160 m throw, far outshining 150 lm models for long-range spotting.
