Nikon Z 50 compact mirrorless camera with NIKKOR Z DX 16-50mm f/3.5-6.3 VR lens

Compact DX mirrorless kit

The Nikon Z 50 is a DX-format mirrorless camera paired with a NIKKOR Z DX 16-50mm f/3.5-6.3 VR lens. It delivers 20.9 effective megapixels for stills and 4K Ultra HD video recording. Built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth allow direct sharing to smart devices. The flip-down touchscreen and electronic viewfinder suit creators producing online content.

Lens integration and handling

The bundled zoom covers a versatile wide-to-normal range with vibration reduction for steadier handheld shots. Its compact retractable design keeps the kit light for travel and daily carry. The camera body offers a deep grip and intuitive button layout for comfortable one-handed operation. A built-in flash provides fill light without extra accessories.

Step up from phone or entry DSLR

This kit replaces smartphone cameras for users who want larger-sensor image quality and interchangeable-lens flexibility. It also upgrades from older entry-level DSLRs by adding 4K video, touchscreen control and wireless connectivity. Photographers needing full-frame coverage or faster constant-aperture zooms should consider higher-tier Z series options.
