Retro-styled DX mirrorless camera

The Nikon Z fc 851090 combines a 20.9MP CMOS sensor with EXPEED 6 processing in a magnesium alloy body that echoes classic film cameras. It shoots 4K UHD video at 30p, offers a 100-51200 ISO range, and includes a 209-point AF system with eye and animal detection. A vari-angle 3.2-inch touchscreen and 2.36m-dot EVF suit vloggers and hybrid creators.

Check lens mount and memory needs

The bundle includes Z-mount 16-50mm and 50-250mm lenses plus a 64GB SD card, so verify you want the DX Z-mount ecosystem before ordering. The camera uses SD cards and charges via USB-C; confirm your workflow supports these media and power methods. No second card slot is present, so plan backups accordingly.

Thermals noise and power draw

Normal use sees the camera draw power over USB-C or from its EN-EL25 battery, with in-camera charging available during operation. The magnesium chassis passively dissipates heat during 4K 30p recording; no active cooling fan exists, so extended clips rely on thermal throttling limits. Mechanical shutter and AF motors produce audible sound in quiet rooms.

Questions about this item

What comes in the box and what do I need to buy separately?

The bundle includes the Nikon Z fc body in black, 16-50mm and 50-250mm lenses, a SanDisk 64GB Extreme PRO SD card, camera bag, 8-piece filter kit, Corel editing software, tulip lens hoods, hand strap, cap keepers, SD card wallet, USB card reader and a deluxe cleaning kit. No essential accessories are missing for immediate use.

Should I choose the 16-50mm or the 50-250mm lens for everyday shooting?

The 16-50mm covers wide-angle to short telephoto, making it suited for daily walk-around, landscapes and vlogging. The 50-250mm is a longer telephoto zoom for distant subjects such as sports or wildlife. Both are supplied, so you can switch between them as the scene demands.

What does the 20.9MP sensor resolution mean for my photos and 4K video?

The 20.9MP DX-format CMOS sensor paired with the EXPEED 6 processor delivers detailed still images and enables UHD 4K recording at 30p. It also supports continuous shooting up to 11 fps and a native ISO range of 100 to 51200 for low-light performance.
