What it is

The Nikon Z fc is a DX-format mirrorless camera finished in silver and paired with a NIKKOR Z 28mm f/2.8 lens. It uses a 20.9MP CMOS sensor and EXPEED 6 processing to shoot up to 11 fps and record UHD 4K at 30p. A fully articulating touchscreen and built-in stabilisation support vlogging and live streaming straight from the camera.

Who it suits

Creators who want a compact body with retro styling and a wide prime lens for everyday shooting will appreciate the intuitive dials and wireless image transfer to a phone. Buyers needing telephoto reach, dual card slots or higher-frame-rate 4K should consider other systems.

Deciding specification

The kit includes a fixed 28mm f/2.8 prime lens, so the field of view and maximum aperture are set for the whole package. If that focal length matches the intended work, the camera is ready to use; if a zoom range or faster aperture is required, a different lens or kit must be chosen.

This listing is specifically the silver 1673 kit with the 28mm f/2.8 lens; other colour options are not described in the product details.
