DX-Format Mirrorless Camera

The Nikon Z fc is a DX-format mirrorless camera built around a 20.9 MP CMOS sensor and EXPEED 6 processor. It offers 4K UHD video recording at 30fps and a flip-out vari-angle LCD screen for flexible framing. The body features heritage-inspired analog controls for shutter speed, ISO, and exposure compensation. Full-time autofocus with eye detection keeps subjects sharp for both stills and video.

Bundled Lens and Accessories

The kit includes a NIKKOR Z DX 18-140mm lens covering wide-angle to telephoto perspectives. A Candisk PRO 64GB card provides storage for images and footage. The Alpine 120 bag, Essentials Filter Kit, and ProOp Cleaning Kit add protection, creative filtration, and maintenance tools. These bundled items let you start shooting immediately without separate purchases.

Ideal for Creators and Enthusiasts

This kit suits vloggers and photographers who want tactile dials, a vari-angle screen, and an all-in-one zoom lens in a compact body. Buyers who need a full-frame sensor, dual card slots, or advanced professional video codecs should look at higher-tier models. It is not aimed at users requiring extreme telephoto reach beyond 140mm or specialised studio tethering features.

Questions about this item

Will the 20.9 MP DX CMOS sensor or EXPEED 6 processor require periodic calibration or replacement?

The sensor and processor are solid-state components with no user-serviceable parts; routine maintenance is limited to sensor cleaning when dust appears.

During extended 4K UHD video recording at 30fps, does the camera hit a thermal limit or the 30-minute recording cap first?

The camera enforces a 30-minute maximum clip length for 4K UHD; thermal protection may activate sooner depending on ambient temperature.

How much heat and fan noise does the body produce when recording 4K UHD continuously for long sessions?

The Z fc uses passive cooling with no internal fan, so operation is silent; the body warms noticeably during prolonged 4K recording but remains within normal operating limits.
