Vlogging Mirrorless with 16-50mm Lens

The Nikon Z30 is a compact mirrorless camera built for creators, vloggers and streamers who want a lightweight tool for daily content. It pairs a 20.9MP DX-Format CMOS sensor with a 16-50mm f/3.5-6.3 VR lens, covering wide to standard focal lengths. A front-facing screen simplifies solo framing, while hybrid autofocus tracks eyes on people, dogs and cats. The design prioritises easy operation and smart connectivity for rapid publishing.

USB-C Power and 4K30p Workflow

The camera records UHD 4K up to 30p and Full HD at 120p for slow-motion clips, with continuous recording up to 2 hours 15 minutes depending on battery and temperature. Power delivery via USB Type-C allows uninterrupted streaming or long takes without swapping batteries. Standard ISO 100-51200 handles low-light scenes, while video ISO tops out at 25600. Built-in guidance explains settings on screen, helping newcomers learn while shooting.

Upgrade from Phone or Fixed-Lens Compact

This kit replaces smartphone video or fixed-lens compacts when you need interchangeable Z-mount flexibility, a larger APS-C sensor and reliable eye-tracking autofocus. The jump is worth it if you require a front-facing display for vlogging, USB-C power for marathon streams, or the optical range of a 16-50mm zoom. Buyers who need weather sealing, dual card slots or higher-resolution stills should look at larger Z-series bodies.
