Full-frame mirrorless kit

This bundle pairs a 24.3 MP full-frame mirrorless camera with a versatile 24-70mm f/4 S lens for creators starting their full-frame journey. A 64GB memory card, protective bag, tripod and filter kit complete the package. The 273-point autofocus system detects eyes on people, cats and dogs while tracking subjects across the frame.

In-body stabilization and Z mount

Five-axis VR image stabilization works with the NIKKOR Z lens to steady both photos and 4K UHD video without extra hardware. The wide Z mount design allows more light to reach the sensor, supporting clean low-light performance. Compact magnesium alloy construction keeps the kit manageable for daily carry in the included Alpine 160 bag.

Single card slot and video limits

Only one memory card slot is provided, so continuous shooting or long sessions require card swaps. 4K UHD recording applies a crop factor that narrows the field of view compared to full-frame stills. Battery life and buffer depth may limit extended bursts or lengthy video takes.

Questions about this item

How does the Z mount interface affect lens coverage and light gathering on this camera?

The Z mount allows full-frame NIKKOR Z lenses to cover the entire 24.3 MP sensor, capturing over 50% more image area than crop-sensor cameras for wider angles and shallower depth of field.

What are the physical dimensions and mounting requirements for the included MT-11 tripod and Alpine 160 bag?

The MT-11 tripod provides a stable platform via the camera's standard tripod socket, while the Alpine 160 bag is sized to hold the Z5 body with the attached 24-70mm f/4 S lens plus accessories.

What is the correct order to attach the 24-70mm f/4 S lens and activate the 5-axis VR stabilization system?

Mount the lens by aligning its mark with the Z mount index, rotate until it clicks, then power on the camera; the 5-axis VR activates automatically with compatible NIKKOR Z lenses like this f/4 S.
