Cinema Camera Bundle

The Nikon ZR 6K Cinema Camera body arrives with a 64GB Micro Ultra card rated at 100MB/s, a medium gadget case, blower, card reader, microfibre cloth and a starter cleaning kit. It is built for filmmakers who want RED colour science and Nikon engineering in a single compact Z-mount body.

Filmmaker Fit

The bundle suits solo creators and small crews needing 6K60 capture in REDCODE RAW, N-RAW or ProRes RAW with 32-bit float audio and 15 stops of dynamic range. Buyers who require built-in ND filters, a larger battery system or a full-frame stills mode should look elsewhere.

Ready to Shoot

Open the case, insert the supplied card and attach a Z-mount lens; the sensor locks into place once the camera powers on and stabilisation engages. The free-floating IBIS mechanism rattles when the unit is off, which is normal and stops the moment recording begins.

Questions about this item

What Z-mount lenses must I already own to use the Nikon ZR 6K Cinema Camera body?

Any Nikon Z-mount lens will work; the camera body accepts the full Z-mount lineup so you can choose primes, zooms or cinema lenses that suit your production.

How does the 15+ stops of dynamic range interact with older Nikon Z lenses I may keep?

The dynamic range is a sensor characteristic, so legacy Z-mount lenses pass light normally and the camera captures the full 15+ stops without any special lens requirement.

How can I confirm the 32-bit float audio is recording correctly after setup?

Monitor the audio meters on the 4-inch folding display while recording; the meters will show headroom well above 0 dBFS, confirming 32-bit float capture is active.
