Drum unit for Brother laser printers

The Ninestar Technology DR820 is a new black drum unit supplied as a single pack. It is built as an aftermarket replacement for the Brother DR820 and fits the DCP-L5500DN, DCP-L5600DN, DCP-L5650DN, HL-L5000D, HL-L5100DN, MFC-L5700DW, MFC-L5800DW and MFC-L5850DW models. Offices and workgroups that use these mono laser devices can install the unit directly.

Operating and storage limits

The drum unit is rated for use between 10 °C and 30 °C with humidity from 20 % to 80 %. It can be stored safely from -20 °C to 40 °C at the same humidity range. A shelf life of two years is specified, so stock should be rotated within that period. Environments outside these temperature or humidity bands are not supported.

Standard-yield capacity

The cartridge is a standard-yield black drum unit, not a high-capacity toner bottle. Buyers who need extended page counts or a combined toner-and-drum cartridge will not be served by this part. It is intended only for printers that accept a separate DR820 drum unit.
