Compatible Brother Printers

This high-yield black toner cartridge replaces the Brother TN460 and fits a wide range of monochrome laser models including the DCP-1200, DCP-1400, HL-1030, HL-1230, HL-1240, FAX-4750, FAX-5750, MFC-850, MFC-8300 and MFC-8500. It is intended for home offices or small businesses that print regularly and want a lower cost per page than standard-yield alternatives.

Build And Installation

The cartridge is supplied new in a single pack with a two-year shelf life when stored between minus 20 and 40 degrees Celsius. It installs directly into the printer’s standard toner bay without adapters or firmware workarounds, and the manufacturer states that using this aftermarket unit does not void the printer’s original warranty.

Before You Order

Verify that your printer model appears in the compatible list above, as this cartridge will not fit Brother machines that require a different TN series code. Confirm the operating environment stays within 10 to 30 degrees Celsius and 20 to 80 percent humidity for reliable performance. Buyers who need colour output or a multi-pack should look elsewhere.
