400-sheet parchment pack

This pack supplies four hundred pre-cut parchment squares measuring six by six inches. Each sheet is made from unbleached virgin wood pulp coated on both sides with food-grade vegetable silicone oil. The paper weighs forty grams per square metre and is acid free. It is sold as a single unit containing four hundred sheets.

Home cooks and small bakeries

The squares suit anyone who separates burger patties, cheese slices, cookies or butter portions for freezing or refrigeration. They also handle microwave reheating and oven baking up to two hundred thirty-two degrees Celsius. Buyers who need larger sheets for lining full-size trays or who prefer wax-coated paper should look elsewhere.

Temperature range minus fifty-four to two hundred

The parchment withstands cold storage down to minus fifty-four degrees Celsius and oven heat up to two hundred thirty-two degrees Celsius. This range decides whether the sheets match your freezing, microwaving and baking requirements.

Questions about this item

Does the 40 gsm parchment generate any heat or noise when used for long baking sessions?

The paper is passive material; it produces no heat or noise and simply withstands oven temperatures up to 232 °C.

What kitchen equipment must I already have to use these 15 cm squares?

You need a standard oven, microwave, or freezer — the sheets work in any of them without extra tools.

Will the silicone coating damage my older non-stick baking trays?

The food-grade vegetable silicone oil is non-abrasive and will not harm vintage or seasoned pans.
