Adventure with Eevee in Kanto

This Nintendo Switch game places you in the Kanto region with Eevee as your partner. You travel the area to battle other trainers and work toward becoming a top Pokemon Trainer. The adventure is designed for players who want a role-playing experience on a single console.

Motion-based catching and cooperative play

Catching wild Pokemon uses a throwing motion with either one Joy-Con controller or the Poke Ball Plus accessory. The accessory lights up, vibrates, and makes sounds during play. A second player can join anytime using another Joy-Con or Poke Ball Plus for cooperative catching and battling on the same system.

Requires accessories for some features

The Poke Ball Plus accessory is sold separately and is needed for its specific light, vibration, and sound feedback. Connection to the Pokemon GO app on a compatible smartphone enables transferring Kanto region Pokemon. Players without a second controller or the accessory cannot access the two-player mode or the accessory-exclusive functions.
