The Nippon Labs 20HDMI-15FTMM-C is an 18 Gbps High Speed HDMI 2.0 cable designed for in-wall runs. Its CL3-rated, fire-resistant PVC jacket meets building-code requirements for permanent installation. The fifteen-foot length bridges components that sit on opposite sides of a room or behind finished walls. Male-to-male gold-plated connectors mate with any standard HDMI 2.0 port.

Build integration

Stranded 28 AWG tinned copper conductors keep the cable pliable for routing through stud bays and tight bends. Triple EMI shielding protects the 18 Gbps signal from interference common inside walls. The single cable carries 4K at 60 Hz, HDR, 3D, 48-bit Deep Color and Audio Return Channel, so separate audio or Ethernet runs are unnecessary. CL3 rating frees the installer from adding conduit in most residential walls.

Signal integrity

Gold-plated contacts resist oxidation that can degrade high-frequency throughput over time. The 600 MHz bandwidth headroom supports refresh rates up to 240 Hz at lower resolutions without signal drop-out. Because the jacket is UL-rated for in-wall use, heat dissipation occurs passively within the cavity; no active cooling or external power is involved. The cable draws no power itself and adds no audible noise to the installation.
