Duplex OM3 multimode fibre patch cable with LC/LC connectors, 3.3 ft aqua PVC jacket, under 0.3 dB loss, over 35 dB return loss
This 3.3 ft Nippon Labs cable provides two OM3 multimode strands with LC connectors at each end. It suits patch-panel cross-connects, switch-to-server links and other high-density rack installations where space is tight. Builders needing longer reach or single-mode fibre will need a different cable.
The duplex assembly supports 10Gb operation up to 300 meters and 40Gb or 100Gb up to 100 meters. Insertion loss stays below .3 dB while return loss exceeds 35 dB, keeping signal integrity stable across the full rated length. Effective modal bandwidth is 2000 MHz/km at 850nm.
A 2.0 mm PVC jacket coloured aqua meets OFNR requirements for vertical runs between floors. UPC polish on both ends minimises back-reflection with LED and VCSEL sources. The slim profile eases routing in crowded cable managers without adding bulk.
