30ft Active Optical HDMI Cable

The Nippon Labs 60HDMI-AOC-4K-30 is a 30ft active optical HDMI cable that uses fiber optic technology to maintain signal integrity over long distances. It supports 4K resolution at 60Hz with 18Gbps bandwidth and 4:4:4 chroma subsampling. The cable meets HDMI 2.0 standards and includes gold-plated connectors marked for directional source-to-display installation.

Installers needing reliable 4K at 30ft

This cable suits installers running HDMI through walls or conduit where copper cables lose 4K 60Hz fidelity. It handles commercial, studio, and residential AV setups connecting source devices to displays. Buyers needing bi-directional connectivity or lengths beyond 30ft should look at alternative solutions, as this cable is strictly one-way and fixed length.

18Gbps bandwidth with 4K 60Hz headroom

The 18Gbps bandwidth comfortably handles 4K 2160p at 60Hz with 48 bit/px color depth, HDR, and HDCP 2.2 protected content. It also supports ARC for audio return and up to 75Hz refresh at 4K with YCbCr 4:4:4. The fiber construction eliminates electromagnetic interference, but the fixed 30ft length and directional design offer no slack for routing errors or reverse connection.

Questions about this item

What source device and display must I already have for this 30 ft active optical HDMI cable to work?

You need a source with an HDMI output and a display with an HDMI input that both support 18Gbps bandwidth and HDCP 2.2 for 4K at 60Hz 4:4:4.

Will this directional AOC cable work with my older HDMI 1.4 equipment?

The cable meets HDMI 2.0 standards and supports 18Gbps, ARC, and HDCP 2.2; older 1.4 gear will function but only at its own lower bandwidth and feature limits.

How can I verify the cable is operating correctly after I connect the source and display ends?

Confirm 2160p at 60Hz 4:4:4 appears on screen, HDR and ARC are active, and the gold-plated connectors show a solid link with no sparkles or dropouts.
