Nisi 46 mm True Colour 1-5 Stops Variable ND Filter

46 mm Variable ND for Lens Threads

The Nisi True Colour Nd-Vario mounts on any lens with a 46 mm front filter thread and provides a continuously adjustable exposure reduction from 1 to 5 stops. Photographers and videographers can darken the entire image by rotating the front ring to reach the exact density required for wider apertures or slower shutter speeds. The 0.3 to 1.5 density range supports creative control over depth of field and motion blur in bright conditions. A silver lever is included for finer, repeatable adjustments.

Pro Nano Coating and Knurled Grip

The filter features Nisi’s Pro Nano coating to maintain true colour rendition while resisting reflections and smudges during daily use. Silver side knurlings give a secure grip for quick installation and removal even with cold or damp fingers. The front ring is visually marked with stop numbers so density settings can be repeated across takes without guesswork. Smooth density transitions prevent abrupt exposure jumps while recording video.

1 to 5 Stops Adjustable Range

The single specification that decides fit is the 1 to 5 stop variable range, equivalent to ND2 through ND32. Buyers who need stronger light reduction beyond 5 stops or a fixed-density filter for simpler workflows will not be served by this model. The 46 mm thread size also excludes lenses with larger or smaller front diameters unless step-up or step-down rings are used separately.
