  • Precise manual focus control down to 7.9 inches
  • Lightweight 364g metal construction with 67mm filter thread

Superior image quality

The lens uses 14 elements in 12 groups with 2 double-sided aspherical and 4 extra-low dispersion elements. This construction delivers exceptional sharpness and clarity across the frame. It is built for photographers who demand high optical performance in a compact manual-focus prime.

Ultra-wide perspective

The 9mm focal length provides a 113° angle of view on APS-C sensors, equivalent to 13.5mm on 35mm format. The aperture range of f/2.8 to f/16 handles expansive landscapes, architecture and astrophotography. It runs out of reach for subjects needing a narrower field of view or autofocus convenience.

Thermals noise and power draw

The all-metal body weighs 364g and measures 12.8 oz, offering robust heat dissipation without active cooling. Manual operation eliminates motor noise entirely during use. The 67mm filter thread accepts standard circular filters and the NiSi 100mm system for creative control outdoors.

Questions about this item

Will this 9mm f/2.8 lens work on my full-frame Canon RF body?

The lens is engineered for APS-C cameras and provides a 13.5mm equivalent field of view on that format; on a full-frame RF body it will likely vignette heavily or require crop mode.

How can I verify the 113° angle of view is performing correctly after mounting?

Frame a measured interior corner or building facade at the 7.9" minimum focus distance and confirm the extreme edges remain sharp with minimal barrel distortion across the f/2.8–f/16 range.

Does the box include a 67mm filter or the NiSi 100mm filter holder, or must I buy them separately?

The lens ships with front and rear caps and a 67mm standard filter thread; 67mm circular filters and the NiSi 100mm filter system are sold separately.
