Precision macro rail for camera positioning

The Nisi Macro Focusing Rail NM-180-360 provides precise camera positioning for macro photography with a 160 mm adjustment range on a 180 mm rail. An integrated Arca-type compatible quick-release clamp and included plate allow fast camera mounting. The clamp rotates 360 degrees to change camera direction without removing the plate. Four detachable foot nails enable direct tabletop use.

160 mm adjustment range with 1.25 mm per revolution

The single specification that determines suitability is the 160 mm travel distance combined with 1.25 mm stage travel per revolution of the collapsible thumb-screw knob. This provides fine control for focus stacking and precise composition. Engraved index marks on both sides of the rail aid repeatable adjustments. Maximum load capacity is 5 kg.

Suits macro photographers needing precise focus

Ideal for photographers who require millimetre-level camera shifts for focus stacking or high-magnification work. The Arca-type compatibility fits most existing clamps and ball heads. Not suited for buyers who need motorised or automated focus stacking, users requiring longer travel than 160 mm, or anyone needing a rail that supports loads above 5 kg.
