Everyday-carry flashlight for bright.
The Nitecore EDC35 is a compact flashlight built for daily carry and outdoor use. It produces up to 5000 lumens with a beam reaching 601 yards. The light weighs 6.28 ounces with the pocket clip attached and fits easily in a pocket or bag. A NiteLab UHi 40 MAX LED provides the high output in a small form factor.
Check your charging setup and carry preferences
The EDC35 charges via a built-in USB-C port hidden under a twist cover at the tail. A 6000mAh battery is integrated and not user-replaceable, so the entire unit must be connected to a USB-C power source for recharging. Verify you have a suitable cable and charger available. The two-position lockout switch prevents accidental activation during transport.
Thermal protection and runtime on a full charge
A proximity sensor automatically reduces brightness when the head is too close to an object to limit heat build-up. In low mode the light runs for up to 90 hours on a full charge. Recharging the depleted battery takes 3.5 hours via USB-C. The body is rated IP68 for dust and water resistance and survives 2-metre drop impacts.
