Everyday-carry flashlight for high-output needs

The Nitecore EDC37 is an ultra-compact EDC flashlight built around the NiteLab UHi 20 MAX LED. It delivers a maximum output of 8000 lumens and throws a beam up to 459 yards. At 4.25 inches long, 1.22 inches thin and 7.02 ounces, it fits comfortably in a pocket for daily carry.

USB-C charging and dual-button operation

A built-in USB-C port recharges the light fully in just over 2 hours, while an OLED screen shows real-time battery level. Two dual-stage tactical buttons handle all functions: a round tail button cycles brightness and activates momentary ultralow, and a rectangular button can be customised for Spotlight, Floodlight or Strobe. A Lockout switch prevents accidental activation in a pocket.

Runtime headroom and environmental limits

On the lowest setting the EDC37 runs for up to 190 hours on a single charge, giving extended use between top-ups. Higher modes reduce runtime significantly. The IP54 rating protects against limited dust ingress and water splashes, but the light is not rated for submersion or heavy downpours, so users needing full waterproofing should look elsewhere.
