The Nitecore NU33 is a rechargeable headlamp designed for camping, hiking and night work. Its lightweight unibody construction uses polycarbonate and aluminium to manage heat during extended use. An IP66 rating protects the unit against heavy rain and dust. The integrated battery removes the need to carry disposable cells.

USB-C charging and light modes

A USB-C port recharges the built-in battery to full capacity in 1.5 hours, replacing the equivalent of nine AAA cells. Three white output levels plus SOS and beacon signals cover navigation and emergency signalling. A high-CRI auxiliary LED improves colour rendering for close tasks, while a red LED preserves night vision and reduces glare in group settings.

Runtime and beam limits

Maximum output reaches 700 lumens with a throw of 147 yards, suitable for trail finding but not for long-range spotting. At the highest setting the battery depletes quickly, so extended trips require access to a USB power source. The fixed head angle limits vertical adjustment compared with hinged designs. Buyers needing longer throw or swappable power packs should consider larger models.
