Ferrofluid Visualizer Speaker

The NO. Ferrofluid Sound Visualizer is a Bluetooth portable speaker that uses magnetic fluid to create real-time visual patterns driven by audio. A 10 W internal full-range driver produces sound while the sealed glass sphere displays the fluid motion. It measures 13 cm per side and weighs 870 g, designed for desktop placement.

Desktop listeners wanting audio

Buyers who need a primary music system with deep bass extension or portable battery operation should look elsewhere. The unit requires a DC 12 V power supply and is intended for stationary use on a desk, shelf or bedside table. It suits users who value the visualiser as much as the audio output.

10 W full-range driver

The speaker reaches a low-frequency limit of 53 Hz and delivers 86 dB sound pressure, so it handles mid and high frequencies clearly while bass remains modest. The ferrofluid reacts across the 100 Hz to 20 kHz range, making the visualisation most responsive to vocals and instruments rather than sub-bass.

Questions about this item

What surface space does the 13 cm cube speaker need?

The unit measures 13 x 13 x 13 cm and weighs 870 g, so a flat, level area of at least that footprint will hold it securely.

Which cable and port are used for the DC 12 V 2 A power input?

Connect the supplied charging cable to the speaker's DC jack and a 12 V 2 A adapter; the step often missed is using a supply that delivers the full 2 A.

Can the ferrofluid be replaced if it degrades, and what accessory helps?

The package includes a small magnet for handling the fluid, and customizable fluid kits are available from the manufacturer for later refresh.
