DIY E-Ink Display Case

The NO. S24 case integrates a four-colour electronic-ink screen on the back of the phone. It draws power and data through NFC link technology, so there is no battery to charge and no Bluetooth pairing required. A companion app lets you send any image from the phone gallery to the case, updating the display whenever you choose.

Users who want a screen that changes without cables

The case suits anyone who wants a personalised, always-visible image on the rear of their device without managing a separate power source. It is not for buyers who need a backlit display for dark environments or who want animated content, because the passive e-ink panel only refreshes when an NFC transfer is triggered.

NFC-powered four-colour e-ink panel

The single specification that decides fit is the NFC-driven electronic-ink screen that shows four colours without any internal battery. If your workflow relies on a self-powered, always-on secondary display, this case will not meet that need.

Questions about this item

Will the NFC projection still work if I keep my older Galaxy S23 Ultra?

The case is listed as compatible with both S24 Ultra and S23 Ultra, so the NFC link technology functions on either model without charging or Bluetooth.

How can I confirm the four-color E-Ink display is updating correctly after I apply a new image?

Open the exclusive Smart Cover app, select a picture from the gallery or your album, project it to the case, and verify the screen shows the new artwork in four colors.

Does the package include any charging cable or power adapter for the ink screen?

No cable or adapter is included because the display draws power through the NFC link and requires no separate charging.
