The No Sew 65W USB-C AC Adapter DZ65200325 is a new replacement charger for Lenovo laptops. It delivers up to 65 watts through a USB-C connector and supports 45 watt devices as well. The unit operates on 100 to 240 volt input at 50 or 60 hertz.

Travellers and multi-brand users

The compact design weighs 10 ounces and suits anyone who carries a charger between locations. It works with Lenovo ThinkPad, Yoga, ThinkBook, Chromebook, IdeaPad and Flex models that charge via USB-C. Buyers whose laptops require a barrel connector or a proprietary tip cannot use this adapter.

20V 3.25A USB-C output profile

The adapter provides fixed output voltages of 5 volts at 3 amps, 9 volts at 3 amps, 15 volts at 3 amps and 20 volts at 3.25 amps. A laptop that needs 20 volts at 3.25 amps over USB-C will receive full 65 watt power. If the device requires a different voltage or current combination not listed, this charger will not meet its needs.

Questions about this item

What USB-C cable length and connector style does the DZ65200325 charger include for fitting into tight desk setups?

The charger has a fixed USB-C connector on a captive cable; the overall unit measures 14.33in W x 12.83in H x 9.06in D and weighs 10 ounces, so allow that footprint when routing the cable.

Which step do users often miss when first connecting this 65W adapter to a Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon 10th or Yoga 9i?

Plug the AC cord into a 100-240V 50/60Hz outlet first, then insert the USB-C plug firmly until it clicks; the adapter negotiates 5V-3A, 9V-3A, 15V-3A or 20V-3.25A automatically.

When should the USB-C cable or the whole DZ65200325 unit be replaced due to wear?

Replace the charger if the USB-C connector becomes loose, shows bent pins, or if output drops below the negotiated 20V-3.25A profile; the captive cable cannot be swapped separately.
