Ultra-compact Bluetooth speaker for phone and laptop

The BS-101 is a pocket-sized wireless speaker measuring 1.0 in on each side and weighing 50 grams. It pairs with any smartphone, tablet or laptop over Bluetooth and fits in a palm or pocket. A single 1.2 inch active driver handles playback and hands-free calls. The unit also doubles as a remote shutter for selfies.

Pair and play with no cables or drivers

Turn the speaker on, select it in the device Bluetooth menu and audio streams immediately. The wireless link stays stable up to 36 feet from the source. One multifunction button answers calls and triggers the camera shutter. There are no wired inputs, so charging or auxiliary connections are not possible.

Check Bluetooth support and audio expectations

Verify that the intended phone, tablet or laptop has Bluetooth enabled before ordering. The 1.0 configuration delivers mono output only, so stereo separation is not available. Bass response is limited by the 1.2 inch driver and 20 hertz low-end figure. Buyers needing louder room-filling sound or stereo imaging should consider larger units.

Questions about this item

How do I know the BS-101 is paired and working after setup?

The speaker emits a tone when Bluetooth pairs successfully with your phone, tablet or laptop; play any track to confirm audio comes through the 1.2 inch driver.

What comes in the box and is anything else needed?

The package contains the BS-101 speaker only; no cable or adapter is included, so you must supply your own USB power source for charging.

Which version of the BS-101 should I choose?

Only one version exists — black, 1.0 inch cube, 50 grams, 1.2 inch woofer, 36 foot Bluetooth range — so there is no capacity or model choice to make.
