Mono Bluetooth earbud with two magnetic chargers

The GoNovate G8 is a single in-ear headset in khaki, designed for hands-free calls and media on one ear. It connects wirelessly over Bluetooth up to ten metres away and weighs 0.01 pounds. The package includes two magnetic USB chargers, a set of three ear-tip sizes and a carrying case for portability. Only one earbud is supplied; a second unit cannot pair to the same device simultaneously.

Sustained listening at moderate volume

A built-in 55 mAh lithium-ion cell delivers five to six hours of playback at 30 to 40 percent volume on a typical smartphone. The supplier notes that seven hours is not achievable at this volume level without a larger 70 to 80 mAh battery, which would not fit in the compact housing. Charging is performed by docking the earbud onto either magnetic charger; inputs above five volts should be avoided to protect the cell.

Low-profile thermal and acoustic behaviour

The tiny mono form factor produces negligible heat during normal operation and emits no audible fan or coil noise. Power draw is limited to the low-voltage USB charging circuit, and the earbud itself runs silently in the ear. No active noise cancellation is present, so ambient sound passes through naturally while the dynamic driver handles music, podcasts and voice calls.

Questions about this item

Does the single earbud get warm or drain quickly during a full 6-hour day?

The 55±5 mAh battery is rated for 5-6 hours at 30-40% volume; the supplier notes the tiny size prevents a larger cell, so expect a recharge after one long session.

Which devices and ports must I already have to use the two magnetic chargers?

Each charger plugs into any standard USB-A port — wall adapter, laptop, or car socket — so you only need a free USB-A outlet wherever you plan to dock the earbud.

Can I pair this mono earbud to an older phone that only supports mono Bluetooth profiles?

Yes, the earbud uses standard Bluetooth and works for calls and media on any device that pairs with a single-channel headset; only one earbud connects at a time.
