Uni-Directional USB-C to HDMI Adapter

This compact adapter converts video from a USB-C source to an HDMI display. It supports Thunderbolt 3/4/5 hosts that provide DP Alt Mode output. The unit is designed for laptops, tablets and phones with a video-capable USB-C port. It will not function with charging-only cables or USB-A ports.

4K 60Hz Output with Backward Compatibility

The adapter delivers 3840x2160 at 60 Hz and also handles 2K at 144 Hz plus 1080P at 144 Hz or 120 Hz. High-fidelity digital audio passes through to the display. A video-capable USB-C 3.2 Gen2, USB 4.0 or Thunderbolt cable is required to reach these rates. Standard charging cables will not work.

Thunderbolt Interface Limits

The female USB-C receptacle accepts a host cable up to the Thunderbolt 5 standard, but the HDMI male plug is fixed at the 4K 60Hz ceiling. The adapter does not support 8K, 4K 240Hz or HDR metadata. It also cannot be used with docking stations, hubs or KVM switches.
