What it is and who it is for

This visual magnetic fluid Bluetooth speaker uses Bluetooth 5.0 to stream audio while a sealed ferrofluid chamber reacts to the music. The egg-shaped unit combines a 5 W audio driver with a 5 W electromagnetic actuator, a 3000 mAh battery and four-colour lighting in a high borosilicate glass and ABS shell. It suits listeners who want a desktop display piece that doubles as a wireless speaker.

Practical limits of Bluetooth 5.0

The speaker pairs with phones, tablets or computers over Bluetooth 5.0 for wireless playback up to the standard range. Audio is delivered through a single full-frequency copper-foil voice coil rated at 5 W, so output level and bass extension are limited by the compact enclosure. The ferrofluid visualisation responds to the incoming signal or ambient sound picked up by the built-in microphone, but the pattern complexity depends on the audio content and volume.

What to check before ordering

Verify that your source device supports Bluetooth 5.0 or an earlier compatible version for pairing. The package includes the speaker, a bracket, a data cable and a colour box measuring 20 by 16 by 16 cm with a gross weight of 900 g. Ensure you have a USB power source for charging the 3000 mAh battery and a stable surface for the glass container.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the silver black version or is another colour available?

The supplier lists only the silver black finish, so no alternative colour is offered for this model.

What does the 5 W audio plus 5 W electromagnetic rating mean when the speaker is playing?

Five watts drive the full-frequency copper foil voice coil for sound, while another five watts power the electromagnetic coils that animate the magnetic fluid in time with the music.

What does Bluetooth 5.0 cap in practice for this speaker?

Bluetooth 5.0 provides the wireless link for audio streaming and control; range and stability follow the normal limits of that standard.
