Premium 50mm fan guards

Noctua NA-FG1-5 Sx2 provides two matte-black grills designed to protect 50mm fans in PCs, 3D printers or home ventilation setups. The set includes eight fan screws and eight tool-free push-pin mounts for flexible installation. Round struts and an offset design keep airflow high while preventing fingers or cables from reaching the blades.

Build quality and mounting

Premium-grade construction uses round struts to minimise turbulence and preserve acoustic performance. Push-pin mounts add a 5mm offset that further reduces influx turbulence and improves running smoothness. The tool-free system allows quick fitting even when fans are already installed in a chassis.

Practical limits of 50mm coverage

Guards fit only 50mm fans, so larger or smaller frame sizes are not compatible. Protection is limited to the grill area; the product does not address dust filtration or liquid ingress. Users needing more than two grills must purchase additional sets.

Each set of two includes eight fan screws and eight tool-free push-pin mounts for flexible installation.

Can I install these grills on a 50 mm fan that is already mounted in my case?

Yes, the push-pin system lets you snap the grills onto the fan frame without removing the fan from the chassis.
