Nomaco Kflex 1/2" Thick NBR/PVC Tee Pipe Fitting Insulation, 3.20 R Value, Black

Tee fitting insulation for 3/8 in pipe

This unslit tee fitting is made from Buna-N rubber blended with PVC and sized for a 5/8 in outside diameter pipe. The closed-cell foam carries a 3.2 R-value and remains flexible across a temperature range from -297 °F to 220 °F. It is intended for mechanical and plumbing contractors who need reliable thermal protection on tee junctions.

Fits directly onto 3/8 in pipe tees without slitting

The unslit design slides over the fitting during assembly, eliminating the need for cutting and taping on site. Its plenum rating and flame spread index of 25 allow installation in air-handling spaces where building codes restrict materials. The antimicrobial, flame-retardant foam resists microbial growth while meeting UL 94 requirements.

Antimicrobial closed-cell foam with plenum rating

The factory-applied antimicrobial treatment inhibits mould and bacteria on the insulation surface. Combined with the flame-retardant formulation and UL 94 compliance, the material satisfies plenum-space regulations without additional wraps or coatings. Black colour provides a uniform appearance in exposed installations.
