Nomaco Kflex Elastomeric Elbow Fitting

This pre-formed 90-degree elbow fits 3/4-inch tube and 5/8-inch pipe. The NBR/PVC based elastomeric material provides thermal insulation for piping, ducts, and tanks. It arrives new in black finish with a nominal wall thickness of 1/2 inch. The fitting covers curved sections without cutting straight insulation.

Upgrade from wrap or tape on curved runs

Spiral-wrapped insulation leaves gaps at bends where condensation forms. This moulded elbow seals the full radius in one piece, saving install time on refrigerant or hydronic lines. The jump is worth it when vapour-barrier integrity matters more than material cost per foot.

Temperature and R-value limits

Continuous exposure above 220 °F or below -297 °F exceeds the rated range and may degrade the elastomer. The approximate R-value of 3.0 applies at the stated 1/2-inch wall; thinner sections on tight radii reduce effective resistance. UV exposure and mechanical abuse are not rated.
