Break-Resistant HB Lead

These Paper Mate Clearpoint mechanical pencils use #2 HB lead engineered to resist snapping under normal writing pressure. The side-click advance mechanism feeds fresh lead without forcing you to reposition your grip. Four pencils in assorted barrel colours are included, making the set suited to students, office workers and anyone who prefers a mechanical pencil that keeps going without frequent lead changes.

Consistent Feed During Long Sessions

The side-advance system delivers lead in small, controlled increments so the tip stays at a usable length through extended note-taking or drafting. Because the mechanism is built into the barrel, there is no need to shake or tap the pencil to advance the core. The break-resistant formulation reduces interruptions caused by shattered lead, letting you maintain momentum across multiple pages.

Lightweight Plastic Barrel With Textured Grip

The all-plastic construction keeps each pencil light in hand, while the textured grip area adds friction for control during prolonged use. A jumbo twist-up eraser at the top removes graphite cleanly without tearing the paper. No batteries, electronics or moving parts beyond the advance and eraser mechanisms are present, so there is no heat, noise or power draw to consider.
