Scale and Subject

This is a 1/18 scale diecast model of the 1990 Mercedes-Benz 230 E finished in Night Green Metallic paint with a matching green interior. It is produced by Norev as an officially licensed collectible aimed at adult hobbyists and display enthusiasts. The model arrives in the manufacturer's original unopened packaging.

Display Durability

The body is constructed from diecast metal with selected plastic components to replicate fine details such as the dashboard, controls and engine bay. Real rubber tyres and steerable front wheels add mechanical realism without compromising the static display purpose. Opening the hood and all four doors reveals the detailed interior and engine compartment, though repeated handling may loosen the hinges over time.

Compatibility Check

Verify that your display shelf or cabinet can accommodate a model approximately 10 inches long, 4 inches wide and 3 inches high. The steerable wheels and opening panels require a small amount of clearance around the model to operate without contacting adjacent items. Ensure the surface is stable and level to prevent the model from rolling on its rubber tyres.
