Entrance Mat for High-Traffic Doorways

The Notrax 117S0046CH entrance mat measures four feet by six feet and is built for entranceways, hospital lobbies and school corridors. A vinyl backing grips the floor while the charcoal polypropylene face resists crushing under heavy foot traffic. The mat weighs twenty-two ounces per square yard and is suitable for indoor use.

Simple Placement With No Reversible Option

Installation consists of unrolling the mat and positioning the flat edges against the threshold; the vinyl backing keeps it from shifting on hard floors. Because the mat is not reversible, only the charcoal face should be exposed to traffic. It is launderable for periodic cleaning, but it is not antimicrobial, autoclavable or rated for welding areas.

Vinyl-Backed Polypropylene Limits

The polypropylene face and vinyl backing are designed for general indoor entrance use and carry no ADA compliance or NFSI high-traction certification. The material does not contain DOP, yet the mat is not approved for autoclave sterilisation or welding-safe environments. Buyers who need certified slip resistance or reversible wear should consider a different specification.
