Antifatigue mat for wet work areas

The Notrax 417 Bubble Sof-Tred mat uses closed-cell PVC foam with a raised bubble texture to reduce standing fatigue. A black and yellow colour scheme marks the single border stripe for visibility. The half-inch thickness adds thermal insulation against cold floors.

Closed-cell foam with anti-slip backing

The sealed surface resists tears and wear while preventing liquid absorption during washdowns. Four bevelled edges reduce tripping hazards and allow carts to roll on smoothly. The anti-slip backing keeps the mat in place on smooth concrete or tile.

Not rated for food zones or welding

The mat carries no NSF/ANSI 52 certification, so it should not be used in direct food-contact areas. It is also not approved for welding environments or USDA-inspected facilities. X-ray detectable additives are not included in the foam.

Questions about this item

What surface texture does the 417 Bubble Sof-Tred use for traction?

The mat features a raised bubble pattern on closed-cell PVC foam that creates grip underfoot while staying comfortable during long standing periods.

How thick is the mat and will it clear a standard door swing?

At half an inch thick the mat sits low enough for most exterior doors to open over it without catching the beveled edges.

Can the mat be laid straight on concrete without adhesive or tape?

Yes, the anti-slip backing grips smooth surfaces on its own; just unroll it with the yellow border facing up and press down to seat the bubbles.
