Notrax 417S0023BL Outdoor Rug 2 x 3 ft Black

Antifatigue Mat for Standing Work

The Notrax 417S0023BL is a closed-cell PVC foam mat designed to reduce fatigue during prolonged standing tasks. Its raised bubble surface texture provides grip while the Dyna-Shield coating adds resistance to tearing and wear. The half-inch thickness offers thermal insulation from cold floors. This mat suits industrial workstations, retail counters or home workshops where workers remain stationary for long periods.

Behaviour Under Continuous Use

The closed-cell foam structure resists compression set, so the cushioning does not collapse after weeks of daily foot traffic. Dyna-Shield surface treatment maintains tear and wear resistance through repeated cleaning and heavy loads. Four bevelled edges stay flat to prevent trip hazards even when the mat is subjected to constant cart or trolley movement. The anti-slip backing keeps the mat in position without adhesive.

Limits of the Bubble Sof-Tred Series

This series is not certified to NSF/ANSI 52 standards, so it cannot be used in food-contact zones that require that approval. It carries no USDA certification and is not rated for welding environments or washdown procedures. The material is not X-ray detectable, ruling it out of production lines with foreign-object detection systems. Reversibility is not supported, so only the bubble side serves as the working surface.
