USB Lavalier Microphone for Streaming and Calls

The NowTH USB lavalier microphone connects directly to a PC, laptop or MacBook via a USB port with no driver installation required. Its omnidirectional condenser capsule captures voice from every angle, while the built-in noise cancellation isolates the main sound source for clear recordings. A 6.56-foot cable and a clip let you attach the mic to clothing or a pocket, and the package includes a wind muff to reduce plosives.

Ideal for Solo Voice Work.

This microphone suits streamers, podcasters, interviewers and remote workers who need a lightweight, hands-free mic for single-speaker sessions. The omnidirectional pattern picks up ambient sound, so it is less suited for noisy open-plan offices or round-table discussions where directional isolation would help. Buyers who need multiple simultaneous inputs or a desktop stand should consider a different form factor.

Plug-and-Play Install with One Common Snag

Installation is as simple as plugging the USB connector into an available port; the operating system recognises the device instantly. The only frequent issue is accidental muting in software settings or selecting the wrong input device after connection. The 39-gram aluminium-alloy body and 2.5-millimetre shielded cable are durable, but the small 6.0-by-2.7-millimetre capsule can be knocked off a loose clip if the cable is pulled sharply.

Questions about this item

Does my computer need a free USB-A port for the 6.56ft cable?

Yes, the microphone uses a standard USB-A connector, so an available USB-A port on the PC, laptop or MacBook is required for plug-and-play operation.

Will the omnidirectional pickup interfere with my existing desktop microphone?

The omnidirectional capsule captures sound from all directions; using it simultaneously with another mic may cause echo or bleed unless the recording software separates the input channels.

How can I confirm the 84dB signal-to-noise ratio is performing correctly?

Record a short test clip in a quiet room, then check the waveform — the noise floor should be very low relative to your voice level, confirming the specified signal-to-noise performance.
