Questions about this item

How much table space does the 3.8 in by 3.5 in base occupy?

The folded easel rests on a 3.8 by 3.5 inch footprint, so it fits on a small desk or narrow shelf without overhang.

Do the legs lock automatically when I pull the easel up to 21.8 in?

Extend each leg until the metal joints click into the detent; the step users miss is pressing both side buttons simultaneously to release the locks for folding.

When should I tighten the wing nuts that hold the 13x19 in canvas ledge?

Check the wing nuts monthly; vibration from transport or heavy boards can loosen them, causing the ledge to tilt under a 16 x 20 inch canvas.
