Replacement CPU GPU Fan for Asus TUF FX505DT FX705DT

This new cooling fan replaces the original CPU and GPU cooler in compatible Asus TUF Gaming laptops. It fits the FX505DT, FX705DT, FX505DU and FX505DY models. The part is intended for owners whose existing fan has failed or become noisy.

Straightforward 4-Pin Installation

The fan connects via a standard 4-pin power connector that matches the motherboard header. Installation requires opening the laptop chassis and removing the heatsink assembly. The main difficulty is detaching the old thermal compound and reapplying fresh paste cleanly. Cable routing around the motherboard can be tight in these slim chassis.

Dual Cooling for CPU and GPU Loads

This single unit cools both the processor and graphics chip through a shared heatsink design. It handles typical gaming and multitasking heat output for the supported models. Sustained heavy loads on both chips simultaneously may exceed the thermal capacity of the original heatsink design. The fan runs on 5V power supplied by the laptop board.
