Desktop Server Chassis with 14 cm Fan

The NShi Desktop Server Chassis is a compact metal enclosure measuring 16.5 by 15 by 8.5 centimetres. It includes a 14 cm fan for quiet heat dissipation and is supplied as a two-piece set with US plugs. The unit is built for mining-machine power delivery and general desktop server use.

Practical Limits of the ATX Power Interface

The chassis relies on a standard ATX power connection, so cable reach and connector count are fixed by that specification. The 14 cm fan provides airflow within the small internal volume, but dense component layouts may restrict airflow paths. No additional mounting points or fan headers are described in the data.

Capacity and Headroom for Mining and Desktop Loads

The 16.5 cm depth and 8.5 cm height limit the length of graphics cards and the height of CPU coolers that can be installed. The metal shell and 14 cm fan handle sustained loads typical of mining rigs, yet the confined space offers little headroom for high-wattage components or extensive storage arrays. Builders needing multiple drives or full-length cards should consider a larger enclosure.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 16.5×15×8.5 cm version or a different size?

The chassis is sold as a pair of identical units, each measuring 16.5×15×8.5 cm, so there is no alternative size to select.

What does the 14 cm fan mean for cooling inside my build?

A single 14 cm fan per unit moves a large volume of air at low speed, giving quiet heat dissipation for components mounted in the desktop chassis.

What power interface does the US plug use and what does it limit?

Each unit comes with a US-style mains plug, so the chassis draws AC power directly from a standard North American wall outlet.
