800 W power supply compatible with RD330, 340, 530, 540, 630 and 640 servers
This 800W power supply carries the DPS-800RB designation and fits Dell RD330, RD340, RD530, RD630, RD540 and RD640 server chassis. It serves as a direct replacement unit for system integrators and IT teams maintaining those specific models.
Builders working with any server or workstation outside the RD330, 340, 530, 630, 540 and 640 range should look elsewhere, as connector pin-outs and mechanical keying differ. It also does not address needs for redundant or hot-swap power configurations.

The 800W DPS-800RB uses an internal fan that ramps with load; sustained full power will increase airflow and audible noise compared to idle operation.
This unit is built for Dell PowerEdge RD330, RD340, RD530, RD540, RD630 and RD640 chassis and will not mount in other systems.
