Ready-to-carry 1080p projector

The NShi RV500W is a new business projector with native 1920 x 1080 resolution and 450 ANSI brightness. Weighing 2.2 lb, it suits professionals who need a portable display for meetings or presentations. It also supports wireless casting from iOS and Android devices. Copyrighted streaming services cannot be mirrored wirelessly.

Check wireless and audio needs

Verify that your source devices support 5.2 or 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi bands for screen casting. Bluetooth 5.2 handles audio output to external speakers, so confirm your speaker pairs with that version. The supplier notes that Netflix, Amazon Prime Video and similar copyrighted content cannot be cast wirelessly. Plan a wired HDMI connection for those services.

Lightweight build with dual-band wireless

At 2.2 lb the unit is easy to move between rooms or take off-site. Dual-band Wi-Fi on 5.2 and 2.4 GHz reduces interference during presentations. Bluetooth 5.2 adds a cable-free link to sound systems. The included 120 screen expands the usable image size without permanent mounting.

Questions about this item

Does the NShi RV500W include the 120 inch screen shown in the title or must I buy it separately?

The supplier title lists a 120 inch screen as part of the bundle, so the screen is included in the box with the projector.

Should I choose the 450 ANSI lumen rating or the 3500 lumen figure for a bright meeting room?

Use the 450 ANSI lumen rating as the standardised brightness measure; the 3500 lumen figure is a different scale and not directly comparable.

What does the 450 ANSI lumen rating mean when the projector is used in a lit office?

At 450 ANSI lumens the image stays visible in moderate ambient light, but for very bright rooms you may need to dim lights or use a high-gain screen.
