  • Open-ear awareness while swimming thanks to bone conduction
  • IP68 rating protects against water ingress during aquatic sports
  • 32 GB internal memory stores up to 9,000 tracks for phone-free listening
  • Bluetooth 5.4 gives a stable wireless link on dry land
  • Triple-press power button toggles sequential and shuffle playback

Open-Ear Design for Water Sports

The NShi S10 uses bone conduction technology to send audio through the cheekbones, leaving the ear canal open. This lets swimmers and triathletes hear coaching cues or ambient noise while listening to music. The headset is built for pool and open-water sessions.

Suits Swimmers Needing Onboard Storage

Athletes who want phone-free playback underwater will benefit from the 32 GB internal memory. Buyers who require active noise cancellation for loud gyms or commutes should look elsewhere, as this model has none. It also does not support Bluetooth streaming while submerged.

IP68 Rating and Dual Playback Modes

The IP68 certification confirms protection against continuous immersion for swimming and snorkelling. Bluetooth 5.4 handles wireless listening on land, while the built-in MP3 player stores up to 9,000 tracks for underwater use. Switching modes is done with a triple press of the power button.

Questions about this item

How do I switch to MP3 mode before getting in the pool?

Press the power button three times to change from Bluetooth 5.4 to the built-in 32GB player so audio works while swimming.

What part of the headset will wear out first with daily use?

The rechargeable battery inside the frame will lose capacity after repeated charge cycles and cannot be replaced by the user.

At what depth does the IP68 seal stop protecting the electronics?

The rating covers continuous immersion beyond 1 metre, so the limit is reached when pressure exceeds the tested depth for the 68 classification.
