A 500 W desktop server chassis delivering 42 A with up to 90 % efficiency, PFC, remote switching and protection from -30 to +65 °C
The NShi USP-500-15 is a 500 W AC-DC switching supply built into a desktop metal chassis. It delivers a single 15 V output rated at 42 A and is intended for test benches, measurement rigs and telecommunication equipment that need steady regulated power.
The unit uses natural air cooling through its metal case, so it requires free airflow around the enclosure and no forced-air ducting. It accepts a wide AC input with inrush-current limiting and active PFC, and provides a remote on/off switch, DC-OK signal and remote-sense terminals for rack or panel mounting.
This supply suits engineers swapping bulky linear units for a 90 % efficient ZVS design that runs from -30 °C to +65 °C. The jump is worth it when you need short-circuit, overload, over-voltage and over-temperature protection in a compact desktop footprint, but it is not for builds that require multiple output voltages or redundant hot-swap modules.

The 15 V output is rated for 42 A continuous; exceeding that trips the built-in overload protection.
It uses natural air cooling with no fan, so it runs silent; the case temperature will rise but stays within the -30 °C to +65 °C operating range.
You need an AC mains cord for the input terminals and your own wires for the DC output, remote on/off, DC-OK signal and remote sense connections.
