Cord Cover Kit For Home Office Floors

This two-piece silicone cord cover provides 16 ft of total length to conceal cables across floors and walls. The self-adhesive backing bonds to hardwood, tile or carpet and lays flat immediately. Each piece can be cut to the exact length required for a tidy finish. The black contemporary style blends with most décors.

Suits Temporary Layouts; Not For Heavy Rolling Loads

Ideal for renters or offices where cables must be secured without drilling or permanent fixings. The silicone material resists high temperatures and contains no BPA, making it safe around pets. Builders needing protection for cables under frequent cart traffic or industrial machinery should consider heavier-duty trunking systems.

16 ft Total Length In Two Self-Adhesive Strips

The kit supplies two strips that combine to 16 ft, each measuring 9.06 in long, 8.27 in wide and 0.1 in thick in packaging form. Installed profile is 1.57 in wide and 0.47 in high to accommodate typical power and data cords. Total weight is 0.812 kg.

Questions about this item

Does the adhesive on the 16 ft silicone cover lose grip over time and need replacing?

The self-adhesive backing is designed for lasting hold on hardwood, tile or carpet; if edges lift after heavy traffic, press them down again or add a small strip of double-sided tape.

Will the 12 mm high channel fit a thick outdoor extension cord?

The cover accepts cords up to about 12 mm (0.47 in) in height; measure your cable first — anything thicker will not sit flat inside the 40 mm wide silicone track.

Does the black silicone get soft or sticky when it sits in direct sun all day?

The material is rated for high-temperature resistance and stays firm in normal outdoor heat; prolonged extreme sun may warm the surface but it will not melt or degrade.
