HP Pavilion x360 14m-dy series compatibility

This 14 inch replacement panel matches the 1920x1080 resolution and 30 pin connector used by the HP Pavilion x360 14m-dy0013dx, 14m-dy0023dx, 14m-dy0033dx and 14m-dy0113dx models. It restores the original 60Hz touch function for daily productivity and media consumption. The panel carries part reference M45012-001 for cross-checking against the original hardware.

Installation requirements and package contents

The shipment contains the LCD screen only; no brackets, cables or adhesive are included. A professional installation is expected because the fragile glass assembly demands careful handling of the 30 pin data cable and power disconnection. Before fitting, verify the model numbers on the back of the old screen to confirm an exact match with the compatible series listed.

Upgrade context and limitations

This panel replaces a damaged or non-touch original screen in the specified 14m-dy variants, returning the device to factory specification. It does not increase resolution, refresh rate or colour gamut beyond the 1920x1080 60Hz baseline. Buyers needing a higher pixel density, faster refresh or a non-touch variant should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

What is the maximum refresh rate the 14-inch panel sustains during continuous operation?

The panel runs at 60 Hz and maintains that rate as long as the host system supplies a stable 30-pin eDP signal and adequate backlight power.

How much heat does the touch layer add when the screen stays on all day?

The touch digitiser is a passive capacitive layer; it draws negligible current and adds no measurable heat beyond the normal LCD backlight warmth.

Which connector and cable does the laptop already need for this 30-pin display to work?

The host must provide a 30-pin eDP interface with the correct pin-out for HP Pavilion x360 14m-dy series panels such as M45012-001.
